Baraja requires you to provide your own API keys for Google Gemini and OpenAI. These keys are:
Your use of those APIs is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Flashcard decks and audio files generated by Baraja are stored only in the output folder you choose on your Mac. They are not uploaded to our servers.
If you purchase Baraja through our website, payment processing is handled by Paddle. Paddle collects and processes payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We receive only what is necessary to fulfill your order (name, email for receipt). We do not store payment card details.
If you download Baraja from the Mac App Store, your purchase is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
This website (swirlsoft.co) does not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts. Basic server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) may be retained by our hosting provider for security purposes.
Baraja is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we ever change our data practices materially, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date. We will not retroactively change how previously collected data is used.
